But when you cross borders there will be, at the very least, misunderstandings, if not risk and a need for courage to appreciate how others see the world, others who have different life experiences, different cultures, different ways of doing just about everything.
And those borders don’t just have to be geographic, although they certainly often are.

I’ll share more on this on Nov. 25 at the 2014 Peace Breakfast of the YMCA of Hamilton-Burlington-Brantford. To be held at the Hamilton Convention Centre, it’s an annual event to honour those in the Hamilton Region who are cultivating peace in the community.
